Directions to Delta
From the east:
- Take the NY State Thruway (Rt. 90) to exit 31 (Utica).
- After the toll booth keep right and bear right under the Thruway and keep right.
- At the traffic light, turn right and immediately take on ramp for I-790 and follow signs for Route 49 to Rome. Travel approx 11 miles.
- Take exit for Rome, Griffis Business and Technology Park and keep left on ramp.
- Continue past the Rome Free Academy on left, a B-52 Bomber on right to the third traffic light (Burger King on right). Continue straight on W. Chestnut three more lights to Turin Road (Route 26).
- Turn right and continue for 3.9 miles to DLBCC entrance on Right. (land marks: on left just before entrance is a NYS Police Station and the Rome Community Theatre)
From the west:
Take the NY State Thruway (Rt. 90) to exit 33
(Verona/Oneida).
After passing the toll booth, turn right on to Route 365 east.
Go about 9 miles and turn left onto Route 26 north into Rome.
Once you are in Rome follow Route 26 north which is also called Turin Road. You will pass by Fort Stanwix on your left and then Route 26 will take a left turn. After this you won't have to make a turn until you get to the Delta Lake Bible Conference Center. That will be about 6 miles more.
On Route 26 north you will go though several lights in Rome and pass by the Rome Free Academy on your right. That is a good indication that you are on the right track. Just keep coming. Once you reach the Beeches you are only 3 miles from Delta.
You may see a sign for Town of Lee, but don't worry you haven't passed us by. Tell the kids "about two more miles".
When everyone asks you once more, "Are we there yet?", you will be. Once you reach the red light at the Nice 'n Easy you are 1/2 mile away. After this you will see the Rome Community Theater sign on the left and the Delta Lake Bible Conference Center sign on the right welcoming you. Turn right just before the sign and enjoy the beautiful ride up the camp entrance road.
