Family Bible Camp is held annually over the 4th of July week. This is a wonderful time for families to come together for worship and recreation. A typical daily schedule includes bible studies, prayer times, and all varieties of recreation from golf outings to waterskiing, from softball to volleyball. Our facilities include various types of housing such as tents, chalets, water & electric for camping trailers, the Lodge, and private cottages. For a tour of our grounds, please click here.
Outstanding speakers provide inspiring thoughts that will sustain and encourage you long after you return home. Family camp always blends corporate worship, special music, and a timely message from God's Word. Special concerts are also held each weekend in the Main Tabernacle. This year's concerts highlight the Needhams on Saturday June 28th at 7:00 PM in the Main Tab - and on July 4th at 7:00 in the Main Tab will be Dane Bailey (the Singing Auctioneer). You can click on their names for more information on their ministries.
This year's evening speaker is John Stumbo!![]() |
John
Stumbo, content husband
and proud father of three children, currently serves as the Lead Pastor
of Salem Alliance Church. John was initiated in pastoral life at an
early age as his dad served as an Alliance pastor for 50 years. Feeling
a call to ministry himself, John attended Crown College where he
received a degree in Bible and Theology and, more importantly, met his
wife, Joanna. Later he earned a Masters in Missiology from Columbia
International University in South Carolina. John has served as a pastor
since 1981, ministering in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Washington. In 2000, God led John into a new phase of ministry at the C&MA National Office where he oversaw communications, funding, and archives while serving on the President’s Cabinet and assisting some of the C&MA auxiliaries, such as our colleges. This role afforded John numerous opportunities to preach and teach at pastor’s conferences, family camps, and churches and to become exposed to the larger world of ministry. Also during that time he was able to catch a glimpse of church life from the perspective of a layperson in his local church, an experience that was invaluable to him. In 2002, John accepted the call to become Senior Pastor of Salem Alliance Church in Salem, Oregon. He serves with a staff of over 50 and an average church attendance of 2,700 plus each Sunday. When not in the office or pulpit, John can often be found on a fishing boat, tennis court, exercise machine, bicycle, or jogging trail. He has dabbled a bit in writing for publication and has served on a variety of boards. John’s highest priority and pleasure, however, is in spending time with Joanna, Anna (22), Josiah (20), and Drew (16). |
Daily Seminars are presented by the Northeastern District each morning Monday through Friday. These seminars focus on practical application of biblical concepts. Many have appreciated the time spent each day during family camp. We are certain you will learn from this year as well.
This year's morning seminar leader is Phil Howard!

Phil Howard is a happily married husband to his wife Kathy (for 34 years!), and the Dad to 2 adult sons; Seth and Aaron. After teaching in special education, he served as Associate Pastor at 1st Baptist Church in Catskill (his hometown), Associate Pastor at Pineview Community Church in Albany and was the founding pastor of North Country Alliance Church in Plattsburgh. Since leaving New York he was a College Pastor at Malone College in Canton, Ohio, and for the past 10 years he has served as a Professor of Christian Education at Toccoa Falls College. His preferred means of transportation is his Honda Goldwing motorcycle, which is how he anticipates making the trip from Georgia to Delta Lake. |
