Trailblazer Camp 2007
Camp this year was AMAZING!!! The Jeffers' presentations, the puppets, the praise and worship music, and the time at the altar in prayer, dedicating our lives to pursue Jesus Christ was all our hearts, the cool activities we did - what a week!
Do you want to relive the amazing way that God worked during our week? Here's a few suggestions on how to see God at work in your life even when you're not at Delta.
First, you need to be reading your Bible every day. If you're a new passenger at the Bible reading adventure, I recommend that you start with the book of John and read through the rest of the New Testament. Then start in the book of Genesis and read through the rest of the Bible. You can even continue through John and the rest of the New Testament again. Spend some time in prayer before you read, asking God to teach you through your lesson.
Second, you need to be a part of a group of teens! If your youth group isn't fun, exciting, and a way for you to connect with God, then you need to talk with your youth pastor or leader about it. if they're not responsive to your concerns, then you need to find another group. drop me a note if you need help, I'd be more than happy to help you make your group better or help you find another one to attend.
No more excuses! You need to be a part of a group! God made us a body of believers. We need to act like a body! (1 Corinthians 12.)
Thirdly, you need to tell others about your faith. Nothing will sharpen your faith more than hearing your friends questions about God and digging to find the answers. Take a stand for Christ and He will bless you for it!
Let me know if you have any questions! I'd love to talk with you!
