Interim Executive Director
Stephen and Paula Clark return in a leadership role at Delta Lake Bible Conference Center effective February 2023, as he serves as the interim Executive Director. It is a role he filled from 1987-90. They have been cottage owners since 1998 and have been regulars to volunteer in various ways since then. They moved back to Rome in retirement in 2018 and live just 2 blocks away. To some he is known as ‘Steph
Sr’ - and to others as ‘old Steve.’ Their son, Steve Clark, served as the Executive Director at Delta Lake until January 2023. Their daughter, Alyson, and family live in West Palm Beach FL and come to
volunteer at Delta Lake each summer. All six of their grandchildren have grown up at Delta Lake and have served in various capacities on staff.
Both Steph and Paula grew up in Christian homes and attended church services from their earliest memories. Both made professions of faith in Christ as children. They met as students at Houghton College and were married in October 1973. She taught elementary school for more than 22 years and
retired in 2005. Steph has been credentialed as a pastor and official worker in the C&MA since 1970,
serving churches across upstate NY until he was called to come to DL. He has since worked for several Christian ministries in fund development and continues serving as a generosity coach and stewardship consultant for churches, donors and ministries. Steph serves as an Elder at Rome Alliance Church and
Paula teaches in children’s ministries and serves on the Women’s Ministries team. Steph also serves as the Board President for the Chapin Living Waters Foundation in Watertown NY.
Pat and his wife Janice have been a wonderful addition to our team. Prior to them arriving here at Delta Pat served as the Maintenance Director at the Adventure Learning Center in Nassau, Bahamas for 2 1/2 years and Janice helped in the office and with volunteer teams. Pat's got a broad range of skills and a strong desire to serve the Lord and make Him known.
